Many elderly patients struggle to return to everyday life after staying in our acute care hospital for some time. They need special treatment to regain their independence. The geriatric day clinic offers a good possibility for this: it provides more occupational therapy and physiotherapy than on the acute care wards, while the patients receive just the same standard of medical and nursing care as in the hospital.
And: while attending the day clinic, the patients are already living in their own usual surroundings where they can try out what they have learnt. If any problems arise, our team will work together with you to find the solutions.
